Photo Gallery | Early August storms wreak road havoc
So far this August has been a wet one, with Wednesday's storms featuring frequent lightning and heavy gusty winds ranging from 45-55 mph.
Many areas racked up another 1-2 inches of rainfall after receiving 2-4 inches Tuesday resulting in flooded roadways that caused lots of traffic problems, especially in South Tampa.
