Tampa, Florida-- Many Hollywood stars who are pregnant swear by The Bar Method to stay in Shape. Now moms-to-be can take similar, low impact classes right in South Tampa.

Jeanette DePuy, owner and instructor at The Bar Method Tampa studio says, "Women can bounce back to their pre-baby bodies quicker if they follow a simple, non-impact routine such as The Bar Method workout."

Staying fit while pregnant can prevent gestational diabetes, alleviate lower-back pain and even lessen the "baby blues."

Ruskin, Florida - This Friday, Hillsborough County's Aging Services Division will host its annual Wacky Olympics event for all Hillsborough County residents age 50 and over. 

This year the Nascar-themed event will be held from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Brandon Community Center at 502 E. Sadie St. in Brandon.

Organizers say the Wacky Olympics has been an Aging Services tradition for more than 20 years, and each year, a center is named Wacky Olympics' Champion. Ruskin Senior Center was named Wacky Olympics winner  last year.
