Columbia Restaurant Community Harvest in 15th year

Clearwater Beach, Florida -- Diners at the Columbia Restaurant next month will benefit local non-profit groups.

The restaurant is donating 5 percent of lunch and dinner checks of all guests to the charitable organizations chosen by the customer.

World of Beer "In the palm of your hand"

Tampa, Florida-- World of Beer Franchising, Inc. (WOB), a rapidly growing Tampa-based concept, formally announced on August 23 the launch of their free mobile app for iPhone and Android users.

The highly anticipated app is aimed at providing customers all over the country with the most up-to-date information on inventory, upcoming events, nationwide locations, and loyalty status, a release about the launch states.

Carmel Cafe and Wine Bar set to open

Tampa, Florida -- Carmel Cafe and Wine Bar will open a new location in South Tampa on Tuesday, Aug. 14 at 3601 West Swann Avenue (off of Henderson).

The founder of Outback Steakhouse created Carmel Cafe which already has locations in Carrollwood, Countryside and Sarasota.

The new restaurant offers food "inspired by a modern interpretation of Mediterranean coast classics from Italy, Spain, France, and Greece presented in spreads, salads, plates and paninis".

New Port Richey, Florida -- If you're ready to enjoy some fine food and delicious dinners, this event is for you!

More than 120 restaurants in the Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg areas are offering special 3-course meals during Dine Tampa Bay. They are price-fixed and include an appetizer, entree and dessert.

The event is meant to highlight the culinary talents of chefs.
