Kennedy Blvd., Matanzas closings Jan. 10 | News
Tampa, FL -- The Tampa Water Department has announced traffic at the intersection of Kennedy Boulevard and Matanzas Avenue will be affected temporarily by road closures this week while crews replace a 6' water valve.
The outside westbound lane on Kennedy will be closed between MacDill and Lincoln avenues beginning at 8 a.m. tomorrow, Jan. 10. Traffic approaching this area on Kennedy will merge to the inside lane.
Additionally, Matanzas will be closed in both directions between Kennedy and North B Street.
Normal traffic patterns on both roads are expected to resume by 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13, depending on weather conditions.
Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with traffic flow. Drivers should seek alternate routes during this period. Please use caution when traveling in the area.
