Laptop thief from Tampa arrested in New York | News

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Federal Transportation Security Administration officers tracked down a laptop thief who stole the computer in one city and landed in another.
According to the TSA, a woman placed her Apple laptop into a bin while going through security at the Tampa International Airport on Wednesday.
Surveillance video showed a man, who was also in the checkpoint line, remove the laptop from the woman's bin and place it into another. He then put the laptop in his bag and caught his flight.
Surveillance video revealed a detailed description of the suspect and the fact that he was flying to New York's LaGuardia Airport.
When the suspect's flight arrived in New York, Port Authority Police and TSA officers interviewed the suspect, who confessed to stealing the laptop, which was in his possession.
