Strawberry grower joins advisory committee | News

Tampa, Florida -- The Hillsborough Environmental Protection Committee Citizen's Advisory Committee which meets at the County Center in Downtown Tampa is getting a new face.

Hillsborough Commissioner Al Higginbotham has appointed Michelle Williamson to the panel.  Higginbotham says she is a recognized leader in agriculture and will add depth to the Committee.

Williamson is a member of the Florida Strawberry Growers Association Board of Directors and the Hillsborough County Agriculuture Economic Development council and has  served on many committees involving agriculture in Hillsborough County.
