Daycare for sick kids | Health

Tampa, Florida-- Here's an idea that will help parents of sick kids feel much better:

Tampa General Hospital on Davis Islands in South Tampa offers KIDCare daycare where parents of kids who are sick (earache, stomach bug, etc.) can drop off their kids, ages 2 months to 15 years old, while they go to work.

You must make reservations no more than 24 hours in advance. It is first come, first serve. You can call: 813-844-7192.

KIDCare daycare program at TGH is offered from 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The cost is $5.00 an hour.

You must bring bring 5 things:

1.) Proof of first round of immunizations

2.) Medications

3.) Diapers

4.) Formula/breast milk with child's name on bottle

5.) Favorite book/toy
