Oldsmar, Florida -- On Saturday, April 6, a young man will be remembered during a free skin cancer screening. His family has organized the 7th annual Philphest, Benefit by the Bay.
Philip Bryant died in 2006 from complications of melanoma. He was athletic, a football player and healthy until he was diagnosed at the age of 22 .
His family tells us he had a mole that no one really noticed was becoming irregular and growing. When he finally got it checked out, it was too late.
His family set up a foundation in the Philip's name.
