Parade of Homes ends April 1 | Events

Brandon, Florida—2012’s Parade of Homes, a two-week home parade that displays the newest home designs and housing trends, wraps up on Sunday, April 1.

The parade, with close to 90 model homes featured in 50 communities throughout Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties, had a 26 percent increase in entries, and a 40-45 percent increase in overall attendance from previous years’ stats.

According to a release from the TBBA Thursday, homes priced at $250,000 or less saw the highest increase of home-buyer traffic with a 60 percent increase overall, and homes priced from $500,000-$900,000 saw an 18 percent increase.

There is still time to contribute to the success of this year’s parade. It is open today from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and tomorrow from noon-6 p.m.
