Final suspect in soldier beating makes first appearance

Tampa, Florida -- The fourth and final suspect is under arrest in connection with the May 13th beating of Army Sergeant Johnny Aparicio.

Brandon Miller, 18, faced a judge Wednesday after surrendering himself at Orient Road Jail.

The attack was caught on a South Tampa homeowner's video surveillance system and instantly made national news as Tampa Police searched for the four suspects.

Tampa, Florida - One teen is injured -- his eye in jeopardy -- and three other teens are arrested; their futures are in jeopardy.

On Sunday night, Noah Grant was out running on Bayshore Boulevard when an egg thrown from a passing SUV hit him in the face. It fractured the bone around the 17-year-old's eye and injured the eyeball itself.

Tampa, Florida - Noah Grant is the kind of son mothers dream of as a parent.

The 17-year-old and his twin brother, Nick, are smart, polite, athletic and well-spoken. Both are cross-country runners at Robinson High School and plan on military service after graduation.

Fourth suspect named in soldier beating

Tampa, Florida -- Tampa police say they now know who the fourth suspect is in last week's beating of Sgt. Johnny Aparicio in South Tampa. But they're asking for the public's help to try and find him.

Investigators identified the suspect as 18-year-old Brandon Miller.

Beating suspects described as polite, quiet, nice

South Tampa, Florida -- To hear it from some of their neighbors and relatives, you might think the three young men arrested so far in last week's beating of Sgt. Johnny Aparicio were saints, not ruthless thugs.

One relative even says police have got it all wrong.

Arrest total now at three for Army soldier's beating

South Tampa, Florida --   Tampa police say the third person arrested in the beating and robbery of Sgt. Johnny Aparicio is 18-year-old Jared Richardson.

In video released by police, Richardson can be seen crossing the front lawn of the house where surveillance images of the beating were recorded, say police.
