Tampa, Florida-- The Hillsborough County Commission on the Status of Women (COSW) seeks sponsors for the Hillsborough County Women's Hall of Fame luncheon and induction ceremony on June 13, 2012.
The luncheon, which will honor three remarkable women, will be held at the Tampa Convention Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
According to Hillsborough County News, the three distinguished women who will be inducted into the Hillsborough County Women’s Hall of Fame during the ceremony on are:
- Phyllis Busansky, former Hillsborough County Commissioner for two terms, and Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections from January 2009 until her death in June, 2009.
- Gwendolyn Miller, who served 16 years as a member of Tampa City Council, and committed 35 year to educating children in Hillsborough County’s School District.
- Jan Platt, who served four years on the Tampa City Council and 24 years as a Hillsborough County Commissioner.
The induction ceremony offers the following sponsorship opportunities:
Presenting Sponsor: $5,000- To receive Priority VIP seating for two tables of 10, logo/name recognition on the COSW website, logo/name recognition in event advertising and promotional materials, and on-screen logo/name recognition during program.
Event Sponsor: $2,500- To receive priority VIP seating for one table of 10, logo/name recognition on the COSW website, logo/name recognition in event advertising and promotional materials, and on-screen logo/name recognition during program.
Patron Sponsor: $1,000- To receive priority VIP seating for one table of 10, listing on the COSW website, logo/name recognition in event advertising and promotional materials, and on-screen logo/name recognition during program.
Table Sponsor: $750- To receive seating at event for one table of 10 and on-screen name recognition during program.
Patron: $250- To receive priority seating for two and on-screen name recognition during program.
Opportunities for in-kind sponsorships are also available. Individual seats are $50.
The Hillsborough County Women’s Hall of Fame was created by the COSW in 2011 to recognize women who have made significant contributions to the betterment of life for residents of Hillsborough County.
It is currently comprised of 13 members and was created by the Hillsborough Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) on April 16, 2003, to advise the BOCC, County administration, the community, and all agencies and persons in Hillsborough County with respect to matters pertaining to the status of women.
