Many people have been wondering when a new boutique hotel across from Bern's Steak House in South Tampa would officially break ground. Speculation has been building since 2008.
Construction of The Epicurean Hotel is expected to begin at some point in 2012.
The 140-room speciality hotel reportedly will be affiliated with Marriott Hotels.
