Adult Acting class begins at Patel Conservatory

Tampa, Florida-- The Adult Acting 1 class has just begun at the Patel Conservatory, but there is still time to join up for this 10 week course taught by the worldly Kerry Glamsch.

“Acting is living truthfully under imaginary circumstances.” So said Sanford Meisner, creator of the renowned Meisner technique, which Glamsch will use to teach the Patel Conservatory class, which is on Tuesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. through August 7.

Adult Stand-up Comedy class taught by "ranney" at Straz Center

Tampa, Florida-- The Patel Conservatory will offer a nine-week Adult Stand-up Comedy class, taught by beloved local comedian and actor, “ranney,” beginning Thursday, June 7.

Students will be guided through a series of improvisation and writing exercises to develop their own unique style of comedy that will be crafted in personal comedic routines.

“ranney" is an internationally proven stand up comedian and award-winning poet. His hip conviction and emotional slams have won over audiences at his memorable one-man shows as well as at poetry slams and featured events.

Tampa, Florida - Get ready for one of the largest music festivals to hit Tampa Bay!

On Saturday May 26, 2012 from noon to 11:00 pm at Raymond James Stadium North lot, THE Sunset Music Festival will take over three stages for you to enjoy House to Bass.

Don't miss the Warhol exhibit in Tampa

Tampa, Florida -- There are only two more weeks left to see the Andy Warhol exhibit at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts in downtown Tampa.

The Museum says it is the premier exhibition of Warhol's works.

You can see the exhibit at the new home of the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts at the Cube at Rivergate Plaza, 400 N. Ashley Drive, in downtown Tampa.

It runs until May 27 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
