That’s why the exciting new program at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Art’s Patel Conservatory  - Conservatory To-Go - has folks in the field of education energized.

“I know this is improving our school and tremendously benefiting our students,” says Thom Laux, principal at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic School (MHR), the first school to sign up for the program.

Tampa, Florida -- Looking for something unique for your child to do on a field trip?  The Straz Center is offering a unique behind-the-scenes opportunity for students: A Day at the Straz.

Students and educators will participate in a theater workshop -- getting fun, hands-on theater experience designed to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. They will take a tour of the fascinating five-theater David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts complex, the largest performing arts venue south of the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
