Straz does Broadway seat test drive | Arts & Culture

Tampa, Florida -- If you like Broadway shows, the Straz Center for the Performing Arts is giving people an opportunity to "test drive" the seats for 2012-2013 with the stage in sight.

Those interested in purchasing tickets for the upcoming Broadway season can go to the free "test drives" from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 6 at the Straz Center's Carol Morsani Hall.

The new season offers the singing and dancing nuns of Sister Act, Cole Porter's classic Anything Goes, feel-good romps with '80s hits like Priscilla Queen of the Desert's "I Will Survive" and Flashdance's "Flashdance - What A Feeling,".

Not to mention, you can also look forward to the chilling return of Jekyll & Hyde, the poignant and spectacular drama War Horse, the exhilarating and evocative Traces and more!
