Asia Fest 2012 | Arts & Culture

Tampa, Florida-- This Saturday, April 28, from 11:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m., join in the free celebration of Asian culture at Asia Fest 2012, put on by the Asian Coalition of Florida. 

The event, in honor of National Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, takes place at Cotanchobee Park, 601 Old Water St. in the Channelside District near downtown Tampa.

Attendees will be wowed by colorful dance performances, traditional music, and of course, fine Asian cuisine.

The ninth annual dragon boat races and the fourth annual Miss Asia Fest Competition will take place at the event as well, but the dragon boat races begin at 8:30 a.m.
