Get your Italian food fix, the healthy way

Get your Italian food fix, the healthy way

Okay,  I love Italian food, that's not a secret!

Unfortunately, typically most Italian dishes are not low fat, low carb or healthy.  I believe you need to plan for your body's future just like you plan for your financial future by carefully choosing how you invest in yourself.  That said, we all know someone who says if all I can eat is boiled chicken and steamed vegetable for the rest of their lives then they just don't care about being healthy, I agree!

HOT 101.5 HS Football Player of the Week

Tampa, FL-- The HOT 101.5 high school football player of the week, is Plant senior kicker Grant Van Aman.

In last week's state semifinal win over Neptune Beach Fletcher HS, Van Aman kicked 4 field goals... 3 of them from 40 yards out or better.

"I knew once we got to the 30 yard line... The 35... We were in range for me," Grant Van Aman told 10 News.  "When I heard coach call my name, call field goal... I saw Trey go out there, I was ready... It was time to get focused on the kick, and do it like I did in practice."

Citizens convince commissioners to bid out trash contract

Hillsborough County, FL -- Talking about trash pick-up may not be sexy but it is one of the biggest services the county provides to homeowners. At stake is the enormous contract, approaching $500 million to pick that trash up. The sticking point was the contract hasn't been negotiated in 17 years. That all changed today.
