Chalk Walk in Hyde Park Village brightens sidewalks

Tampa, Florida - Some suit up like football players. "Yes, I have to gear up and protect my knees, because it's rough on this concrete," says Julie Graden, while strapping on some knee pads.

No football players, but this weekend in Hyde Park Village artists are teaming up and transforming sidewalks there from bland to beautiful.

At her real job, Julie Graden sits at a computer designing graphics. It's a very different experience than grabbing chalk, a slab of sidewalk and the attention of passersby.
