Hillsborough County, Fla. -- There are only two weeks left for college students to apply for a $1,200 Florida State Association of Supervisor of Elections (FSASE) scholarship.

To qualify, students must either major in: Political/Public Science, Business Administration or Journalism/Mass Communication. Additionally, students must be registered to vote in Hillsborough County, be a resident of Florida for two years preceding the academic year, and must be enrolled or accepted as a junior at a university or senior college in Florida.

Tampa, Fla. -- U.S. Representative Kathy Castor has released the list of employers who will be present to meet directly with job-seekers at her 2012 Jobs and Community Resource Fair. 

The Job Fair will be this Saturday, March 3, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Workforce Tampa Career Center (formerly Floriland Mall), located at 9215 N. Florida Ave. 

TAMPA, Florida - A last-minute addition to city council's agenda will bring surveillance cameras to Downtown Tampa this summer.  A 6-1 vote Thursday morning approved a $2 million purchase - once criticized just for its possible intrusiveness, but now also for its lack of transparency.
